Bathroom Design Trends of 2024: Get Your Bathroom Summer Ready!

As the summer season approaches, there’s no better time to refresh your bathroom with the latest design trends of 2024. Whether you’re planning a complete remodel or a few stylish updates, our team at Morpeth Kitchens and Interiors are here to help you create a stunning, functional space that youโ€™ll love year-round. Here are some of the top trends of 2024 to consider:

 1. Sustainable Materials

Eco-friendly designs are at the forefront in 2024. Think bamboo, reclaimed wood, and recycled glass for a chic and conscious update. Not only are these materials good for the environment, but they also add a natural, serene vibe to your bathroom.

2. Spa-like Features

Transform your bathroom into a personal sanctuary. Features like rainfall showers, freestanding tubs, and heated floors can bring a touch of luxury to your everyday routine. Adding plants can also enhance the spa-like ambiance, making your space feel fresh and relaxing. Bonus tip โ€“ Green accents are also in this year! If you like the โ€˜zenโ€™ look, green touches are the way to go!

3. Bold Colours and Patterns

Donโ€™t be afraid to experiment with colour! If you have followed us for anytime at all, you will know at Morpeth Kitchens we LOVE colour and being BOLD. This year, bold hues and striking patterns are making a comeback. Consider deep blues, emerald greens, or rich burgundies for a dramatic effect. Patterned tiles can also add a playful yet sophisticated touch to your space.

4. Smart Technology

Incorporate smart technology to make your bathroom more efficient and convenient. From voice-activated lighting and smart mirrors to digital showers, these innovations can make your daily routine smoother and more enjoyable.

5. Minimalist Design

Less is more in 2024. Clean lines, uncluttered spaces, and minimalistic fixtures can create a sleek, modern look. Opt for floating vanities and built-in storage solutions to keep your bathroom tidy and stylish. With that being saidโ€ฆ Donโ€™t forget to make your space personal! Donโ€™t be afraid to stamp your personal touches on your bathroom. For all that minimalist design is in right now, you can still make your space unique through dรฉcor innkeeping with your personality!

Ready to bring these trends to life? Here are a few tips to get your bathroom summer-ready:

1. Declutter and Clean: Start by clearing out unnecessary items and giving your bathroom a deep clean. This will make it easier to see what areas need attention.

2. Update Accessories: Swap out old towels, rugs, and shower curtains for fresh, seasonal designs. Bright colours and light fabrics can instantly uplift your space.

3. Add Greenery: Incorporate plants to add a touch of nature. Not only do they purify the air, but they also create a calming atmosphere.

4. Upgrade Lighting: Natural light is a must for summer. Consider adding a skylight or increasing the wattage of your bulbs. Warm lighting can make your bathroom feel cozy and inviting.

5. Consult the Experts: At Morpeth Kitchens and Interiors, we offer personalised discovery consultations to help you design the perfect bathroom. Our experts can guide you through the latest trends and find solutions that fit your style and budget.
